The International Energy Forum (IEF) has welcomed independent European tank storage company Evos as the newest member of its Industry Advisory Council (IAC), strengthening the council’s representation across the global energy value chain.
Evos operates eight tank storage terminals in key European seaports across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Malta and Spain. The company’s infrastructure supports the storage and handling of liquid energy and chemical products, serving supply chains that deliver fuels and chemicals to industrial, transport and community markets.

While continuing to manage conventional energy products, Evos has been adapting its terminal network to accommodate cleaner fuels, with non-fossil products now accounting for almost one-third of its portfolio. The company said its participation in the Industry Advisory Council reflects the growing importance of flexible storage infrastructure in supporting energy security and the transition to lower-carbon fuels.
The IEF is an international platform that brings together governments, energy producers, consumers and industry stakeholders to encourage dialogue on energy security, market stability and energy transition strategies. Its Industry Advisory Council provides practical industry insight to the organisation’s Secretary General and Executive Board, helping to ensure policy discussions are informed by operational experience across sectors including hydrocarbons, electricity, renewables, nuclear energy, low-carbon fuels and emerging technologies.
As a member of the council, Evos will contribute expertise on tank storage market developments and the role of terminal infrastructure in maintaining reliable energy supply chains as global demand evolves and decarbonisation efforts accelerate.
The appointment also highlights the increasing strategic importance of storage terminals in balancing energy supply, supporting alternative fuels and improving the resilience of international energy markets amid ongoing geopolitical uncertainty and changing energy requirements.
By expanding the Industry Advisory Council to include companies such as Evos, the IEF aims to strengthen collaboration between policymakers and industry while ensuring future energy policy is informed by real-world operational knowledge and practical infrastructure experience.
