Sam Carbis Solutions Group announces new Enterprise Advisory Team

Sam Carbis Solutions Group has formed a new Enterprise Advisory Team, bringing together six experienced leaders from across the organisation to help shape the company’s future and advance strategic initiatives.

The cross-functional team combines diverse perspectives and nearly a century of collective experience with Carbis. Drawing on their firsthand knowledge of the company’s people, operations, customers, markets and financial functions, the team will help identify opportunities, shape strategic initiatives and support enterprise-wide decision-making as Carbis continues to grow and evolve.

Meet the Enterprise Advisory Team

Shawn Mizell president

A fourth-generation leader of the family-owned Carbis organisation, Shawn Mizell has spent 38 years with the company. Her extensive experience provides a deep understanding of Carbis’ people, culture and evolution. As president, Mizell provides strategic leadership and helps guide the company’s continued growth and development.

Katrina Stone director of operations

Stone has been with Carbis for 19 years, progressing through roles in customer service, process development, customer service management and production management before becoming director of operations. In her current role, she leads the company’s core operational functions and brings a broad understanding of its processes and day-to-day operations.

Jason Shannon director of sales & marketing

Shannon has spent 14 years with Carbis, advancing from outside sales representative to regional manager and ultimately director of sales & marketing. His experience across sales leadership has provided him with a strong understanding of Carbis’ customers, markets and commercial strategy. In his current role, he brings those perspectives together across the company’s sales and marketing efforts.

Kent Stidham production manager

With 27 years at Carbis, Stidham brings extensive experience in the company’s manufacturing operations. He began his career in welding, fitting and rigging before spending most of his career in quality control and later moving into production leadership. Today, he oversees production at both the Florence and Darlington facilities.

Kristan Gause controller

Gause has spent 12 years with Carbis, progressing through virtually every level of the company’s accounting organisation. Her experience includes collections and accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounting manager and, ultimately, controller. This broad background provides her with a comprehensive perspective on Carbis’ financial operations and the business as a whole.

Lindsey Lunsford regional sales manager

Lunsford has been with Carbis for 19 years, building her career through a range of customer- and sales-focused roles, including customer service, international distributor management and outside sales. Her experience working directly with customers, distributors and the sales organisation has given her a broad perspective on the business and the markets Carbis serves. She now brings that experience to her role as regional sales manager.

Built on Experience. Focused on the Future.

Together, the six members of the Enterprise Advisory Team represent nearly a century of combined experience with Carbis. Each has developed their career within the organisation while gaining firsthand insight into different areas of the business.

That depth of institutional knowledge, coupled with the team’s diverse perspectives, will support Carbis as it evaluates opportunities, develops strategic initiatives and builds on the foundation established for long-term growth.

“Carbis has a tremendous depth of knowledge and experience within our organisation,” said Shawn Mizell, president of Sam Carbis Solutions Group. “The Enterprise Advisory Team brings together six leaders with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, allowing us to look at opportunities and challenges from an enterprise-wide view. Our goal is to use that collective perspective to help Carbis move forward with greater clarity, alignment and purpose.”

The formation of the Enterprise Advisory Team represents another step in Carbis’ ongoing focus on strategic growth, innovation and building a strong foundation for the company’s future.
