The Zink Family Office has established Zink Industrial Group (Zink Industrial), a new holding company focused on acquiring and growing established industrial businesses. The company was established effective June 3rd, 2026.
Drawing on nearly a century of entrepreneurial experience, Zink Industrial will invest in manufacturing, fabrication, process equipment and other specialised industrial businesses. The company’s approach emphasises long-term ownership, operational excellence and a commitment to the employees, customers, brands and legacies that have contributed to each company’s success.

According to Darton Zink, president and CEO of Zink Industrial Group, the company was created to extend the Zink family’s long-term approach to business ownership.
“Great businesses are built over decades, not investment cycles,” Zink said. “Zink Industrial Group gives us a way to carry that philosophy forward by investing in strong industrial companies, supporting their people and customers, and building for the next generation.”
Unlike a traditional private equity model, Zink Industrial takes a multi-generational approach to ownership. The company provides portfolio businesses with operational and strategic resources while maintaining a long-term focus on growth and value creation.
Zink Industrial will seek established businesses with strong customer relationships, differentiated capabilities and opportunities for continued growth.
“For business owners, choosing the right next owner is about much more than completing a transaction,” said Matthew Clifton, director of Zink Industrial Group. “We want to be a long-term home for exceptional companies, preserving what makes them successful while providing the resources and support to help them grow.”
Zink Industrial completed its first acquisition on August 1st, 2026, acquiring Tulsa-based Carlson Company from Riverbend Industries. Carlson manufactures large custom flanges for customers in the oil and gas, petrochemical, wastewater, food processing, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Following the acquisition, Carlson will continue operating under its established name and brand. The company’s existing identity and customer relationships will be maintained as it enters its next phase of growth, building on a reputation developed over nearly 70 years.
