Moeve and Exolum reach financial close on Huelva Hub
Moeve and Exolum, through their joint venture Terminal Puerto Tartessos, have secured €105 million in project finance from BBVA and Kutxabank to support the development of Muelle Sur, a strategic logistics and maritime transport hub at Spain’s Port of Huelva.
The facility, which is already more than halfway through construction, is expected to become a key gateway for the handling of feedstocks and products linked to Moeve’s new second-generation (2G) biofuels plant. Kodiak Gas Services and Baker Hughes have entered into a multi-year strategic agreement to deploy gas turbine-powered generation systems in support of growing US data centre and energy infrastructure demand.
The agreement includes an initial equipment order expected to deliver approximately 1 gigawatt (GW) of power generation capacity by 2030, with a broader framework that could expand total capacity to as much as 1.8 GW over time.

VTTI Dalian has completed its first commercial vessel loading of large-scale green methanol, marking a key milestone under its long-term green methanol storage and handling agreement.
The achievement represents a step forward in the development of Northeast China as a logistics hub for sustainable marine fuels. The green methanol cargo will be delivered to Shanghai, where it will be used as a marine fuel to support efforts to reduce emissions from the shipping sector.

Voortman has invested more than US$50 million (€45 million) in a new manufacturing facility in Monee, Illinois, as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the US market. The steel processing machinery manufacturer has also delivered its first US-built machine to a customer in Phoenix, Arizona, marking a milestone in its localisation efforts.
The investment is aimed at enhancing service for North American customers by bringing manufacturing closer to the market.
