The transaction marks Equinor’s entry into Namibia and gives the Norwegian energy company access to a drill-ready exploration prospect that is scheduled to be tested in 2026. Global automation technology company Emerson has secured a multi-million-dollar contract from BP to provide advanced automation technologies for the Shah Deniz Compression project offshore Azerbaijan.
