Targa Resources Corp. has entered into new long-term, integrated midstream agreements with subsidiaries of ExxonMobil, strengthening the companies' strategic relationship across the Permian Basin. The agreements include long-term, fee-based natural gas gathering and processing (G&P) and downstream services across the Permian's Delaware and Midland basins. Petrobras, PetroReconcavo, Brava Energia and Origem Energia have signed long-term contract addenda covering access to natural gas processing at the Catu Natural Gas Treatment Unit (UTG Catu) in Pojuca, Bahia, operated by Petrobras. Effective immediately, the agreements are designed to ensure continuity in the processing of natural gas production while providing greater predictability for market participants. Irving Oil is investing C$235 million in its Saint John refinery, Canada's largest, as part of a major turnaround project aimed at supporting safe, reliable and long-term operations at the facility. Known as Operation Osprey, the 75-day turnaround is scheduled to begin in early September and will bring approximately 2,100 additional skilled workers to the refinery. The workforce will include personnel from more than 55 contracting companies, with the majority expected to come from communities across New Brunswick and the wider Atlantic Canadian region. McDermott has been awarded a mega engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract by ADNOC for Package 4 of the Umm Shaif Integrated Gas Cap and Surface Pressure Boosting (SPB) Project. The project forms a key part of the Umm Shaif Long Term Development Plan (LTDP), which aims to maximize gas recovery from the field and increase production.
